Un servicio de información independiente que muestra qué viviendas turísticas están inscritas en el Registro de Turismo de Andalucía en la provincia de Málaga, qué parte de las viviendas de cada zona son turísticas y, en Málaga capital, cuántos anuncios de Airbnb no muestran un número de registro válido. No es una web oficial de la Junta de Andalucía ni de ningún ayuntamiento.

An independent public-information service showing which tourist flats are in the Andalusian Tourism Register in Málaga province, what share of homes in each area are tourist lets and, in Málaga city, how many Airbnb listings don't display a valid registration number. It is not an official website of the Junta de Andalucía or of any council.

Porque los datos existen pero están dispersos y son difíciles de consultar. Queremos que cualquier vecino, comprador o periodista pueda ver con datos oficiales cuántas viviendas turísticas hay en su barrio o su edificio, y cuántos anuncios incumplen la obligación de mostrar su número. No buscamos señalar a nadie: publicamos los problemas por zonas, nunca anuncio a anuncio.

Because the data exists but is scattered and hard to consult. We want any resident, buyer or journalist to see, from official data, how many tourist flats there are in their barrio or building, and how many adverts don't show their number as required. We're not out to single anyone out: we publish problems by area, never advert by advert.

• Tu zona: elige Málaga capital, Marbella o la provincia para ver las cifras clave y la clasificación de barrios o municipios.
• Tu calle o edificio: escribe una dirección, un barrio o un número de licencia en el buscador. Verás cada vivienda turística registrada, con planta y puerta.
• El mapa: pulsa un edificio para ver sus viviendas turísticas, o cambia de capa para ver el porcentaje de viviendas turísticas por zona.
• Un anuncio: en Comprobar un anuncio, pega un enlace de Airbnb o escribe el número que aparece en cualquier anuncio.

• Your area: choose Málaga city, Marbella or the province to see the key figures and the ranking of barrios or municipalities.
• Your street or building: type an address, a barrio or a licence number in the search box. You'll see every registered tourist flat, with floor and door.
• The map: tap a building to see its tourist flats, or switch layers to see the share of tourist homes by area.
• An advert: on Check an advert, paste an Airbnb link or type the number shown in any advert.

1. Busca la dirección aquí: si la vivienda no aparece, puede que no esté registrada (o que su registro no sea público).
2. Si encuentras el anuncio, compruébalo: te diremos si el número que muestra es válido y a qué vivienda corresponde.
3. Guarda el enlace, el número que muestra, la fecha y una captura de pantalla.
4. Comunícalo a la Junta de Andalucía (buzón contra la clandestinidad turística en Málaga), al ayuntamiento y/o a la plataforma. Tienes todos los canales en Cómo comunicar un anuncio.

Recuerda que un número no válido es un motivo para preguntar, no una prueba: hay viviendas con licencia que no la muestran y alojamientos exentos. Nosotros no recibimos ni tramitamos denuncias.

1. Look the address up here: if the flat doesn't appear, it may not be registered (or its registration may not be public).
2. If you find the advert, check it: we'll tell you whether its number is valid and which flat it belongs to.
3. Keep the link, the number it shows, the date and a screenshot.
4. Report it to the Junta de Andalucía (its Málaga inbox for unregistered tourist lets), the council and/or the platform. All the channels are in How to report an advert.

An invalid number is a reason to ask, not proof: some licensed flats don't display their number and some lets are exempt. We don't receive or handle complaints ourselves.

Que el anuncio no muestra ningún número de la Junta, o muestra uno que no está en el registro, que nunca se ha emitido o que es de otro municipio. La Junta exige que el número aparezca en toda publicidad, pero no mostrarlo no prueba que la vivienda no esté registrada. Por eso nunca decimos que un porcentaje de viviendas «es ilegal».

That the advert shows no Junta number, or shows one that isn't in the register, was never issued, or belongs to another town. The Junta requires the number in all advertising, but not showing it doesn't prove the flat is unregistered. That's why we never say a share of flats “are illegal”.

Del Registro de Turismo de Andalucía (datos abiertos de la Junta, actualizados a diario), el Catastro, el INE y el Ayuntamiento de Málaga. From the Andalusian Tourism Register (Junta open data, updated daily), the Catastro, the INE and Málaga city council. Airbnb listings start from Inside Airbnb's list and our servers visit each listing to read the number it shows today. Our barrio figures match the council's own study within one or two points. Mostramos el registro tal como lo publica la Junta. Si los datos de una inscripción son incorrectos, hay que corregirlos ante la Junta de Andalucía. Si crees que el error es nuestro (por ejemplo, al agrupar un edificio), escríbenos a través de Shifted Labs.

We show the register as the Junta publishes it. If an entry's details are wrong, they must be corrected with the Junta de Andalucía. If you think the mistake is ours (for example, in how a building is grouped), contact us through Shifted Labs.

Para Málaga capital partimos de la lista completa de anuncios que publica Inside Airbnb, que no cubre otros municipios. Estamos preparando nuestra propia lista. Mientras tanto mostramos el porcentaje de viviendas anunciadas que publica el INE y puedes comprobar cualquier anuncio concreto.

For Málaga city we start from Inside Airbnb's full listing list, which doesn't cover other municipalities. We're building our own. Meanwhile we show the share of advertised homes published by the INE, and you can check any individual advert.
